Het Proto-Indo-Europese thuisland is het hypothetische thuisland of de Urheimat waar het Proto-Indo-Europees (PIE) zou zijn ontstaan. Sinds de ontdekking van het Sanskriet door westerse wetenschappers is de zoektocht naar dit thuisland, lange tijd beschouwd als de heilige graal van de Indo-Europese taalwetenschap,[1] vaak beïnvloed door nationalistische tendensen.
